1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website and engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our website or use our services. These terms apply to all clients, visitors, and users of Cortiva Digital.

2. Services and Scope

Cortiva Digital provides web design, web development, and digital consulting services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for any project will be outlined in a separate, formal Proposal or Statement of Work (SOW) provided to the client before work begins. Any requests outside the agreed SOW will be subject to additional scoping and billing.

3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the successful and timely completion of your project, you agree to:

• Provide all necessary content, assets, and feedback in a timely manner.
• Ensure you have the legal right or copyright to any text, images, or media you provide to us for use on your website.
• Designate a primary point of contact who has the authority to approve deliverables and make decisions.

Delays in client feedback or asset delivery may result in adjusted project timelines.

4. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise specified in your formal contract, our standard payment terms require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your project slot and commence work. The remaining 50% balance is due upon project completion, prior to the website being launched or handed over. All invoices are payable within 7 days of receipt. We reserve the right to suspend work or withhold deliverables if payments are overdue.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon final payment, the client assumes full ownership of the final website, design assets, and custom code produced during the project. Cortiva Digital retains the right to display the completed work in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless a specific Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been signed.

6. Warranties and Liability

We build our websites using modern standards and best practices. However, we cannot guarantee that the website will be completely immune to malicious attacks, third-party plugin failures, or browser updates that occur after launch. Cortiva Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services or deliverables.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Denmark.
